Cheryl Harmon, Chief Academic Officer, CenterPoint Education Solutions
As a third-generation educator, Dr. Cheryl Harmon believes that advancement and improvement of educational opportunities for all students is her life’s work. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl began her teaching career as a high school English teacher. As her experiences teaching underserved and diverse learners grew, she expanded her reach by taking on leadership opportunities in schools, districts, and non-profit organizations. In her current role as Chief Academic Officer at CenterPoint Education Solutions, Cheryl plays a critical role managing CenterPoint’s high-quality programs for schools, districts, and other organizations across the US. Cheryl continues to seek opportunities to expand the impact and access to high-quality, equity-centered instructional resources.
