Joie Langford
Joie M. Langford, CFRE is a dynamic millennial leader in the nonprofit sector. She currently serves as the Director of Development at The Writing Revolution – a literacy nonprofit headquartered in New York City – where she is charged with overseeing the organization’s fundraising and development initiatives to secure philanthropic support.
Joie brings more than 8 years of field experience to her work, having successfully executed thoughtful fundraising campaigns that engage individuals and institutions to support programs that directly impact underserved communities. She is passionate about empowering communities to realize their full potential by creating new partnerships with corporate and community leaders. Joie is a mission-driven professional committed to creating an equitable environment for all students to pursue their aspirations.
Joie holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, with a minor in African American Studies from Temple University.
