Aakriti Khanal, Development and Research Manager, Adhikaar
Aakriti Khanal is Adhikaar’s Development and Research Manager. She is a proud daughter of immigrants and immigrated to the U.S. from Nepal at the young age of 11. Aakriti has spent the past decade working at organizations that empower women, workers of color, and the Nepali-speaking immigrant community. She manages Adhikaar’s entire fundraising portfolio and also leads other projects such as program tracking, database management, and programs support. Prior to working at Adhikaar, she worked as a Union Organizer for Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and as an intern at the office of Senator Tom Harkin in the U.S. Congress. She deeply cares about labor, immigration, and gender issues and is fluent in Nepali, Hindi, and English, and is conversational in Spanish.
