We also include panel discussions with member participants, as well as opportunities to hear from invited speakers. This program is designed to be responsive to you and your needs – so your ideas will also help us shape the program as it progresses.

Where: Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York

Cause Effective Senior Associate, David McGoy, will be sitting on the Smarter Fundraising Using Analytics & Data panel at NYN Media's Nonprofit Fundcon Conference on March 19th.

Topic description: Nonprofit organizations can no longer just rely on a strong mission or a previous relationship with a donor for their fundraising success. Nowadays, nonprofits must make sure that their resources and strategies are properly shaped to target their donors. Nonprofits can use data to determine the best prospects to engage for a donation. They can also use data to support efficient fundraising practices and staff productivity through the use of data-driven performance benchmarks. Using data can also strengthen the donor relationship by confirming that the donor made a sound investment.
